Tallys is Kilian by birth, born the second daughter out of a total of three. She grew up in the shadow of her elder sister, who had always been superior by far. As hard as she tried to compare, it became apparent that Eden had something that she supposedly didn't. Eden called it 'actual talent.' Tallys called it 'a building up her ass.' And though she was envious, she decided from a young age that she would never voice this to anyone, if only to save herself the embarrassment.
As a child she'd often slack off, neglecting work just to sit in the high branches of a tree and take a nap, or wander away from where she ought to be to talk to other children around her age, inventing games, making up stories and doing things she was mostly forbidden to do a lot of the time. Kilians liked their silence, but Tallys hated it with a passion. People marveled on how beautiful the mist amongst the trees was. Tallys found it dull and monotonous. There was no beauty, not in Kilia, that she could see.
Some years passed, and one day Eden left home without a word, only leaving behind a note stating that she was leaving and would most likely not return. Tallys, sixteen at the time, found it something of a relief, a breath of fresh air. She'd always wanted to leave. Events that happened around that time made this want into a much stronger desire. She needed to get away from Kilia, and hopefully forever. And so she did, with her younger sister Raisie as she was unable of leaving her behind.
The sisters left for Dentoria, and at last established a magic shop in Rhia, the largest city of the South.
[edit] Personality
Tallys is laidback, openminded and informal unless it's important for her to be, and she finds it rarely ever is. She takes most things in stride and doesn't tend to judge people based on looks or first impressions, for that matter, unless it's a particularly strong one. None the less, she doesn't genuinely dislike anyone. However, her elder sister Eden might be an exception. She feels a mixture of things for Eden. Jealousy, anger, bitterness, blatant frustration and treats her with the amount of respect she feels she deserves. Which is very little.
But beneath it all there's the familial bond that however grudgingly, she accepts, and knows that she can't ever sever. And while she could never, ever like-- much less love-- Eden, she won't deny that they're family (regardless of what Eden likes to say), because family is what has always meant the most to her-- Raisie in particular. Tallys, though not normally quick to anger will be very incredibly pissed off if anyone dares to mess with her little sister. Her protectiveness has become an instinct, really.
She believes there are a number of things that people should never have to experience-- important to them is one of them-- and Tallys strives to protect her sister from such things, because her naivete and innocence is too precious not to preserve.

[edit] Appearance
Tallys is tall and thin, but sturdily built. While her magical skill leaves much to be desired, Tallys can definitely take a few hits, and not to mention dish them out. She has black hair and blue eyes, two of the few traits she has in common with her two sisters. But while Eden and Raisie keep their hair long, Tallys has it cut short in no identifiable style-- just short enough for it to be practical.
Her skin is reasonably pale, and she is easily sunburnt; a fact that she finds irritating.
