House Taerin of Korin is an Old Blood family located in the Northern part of country, just West of the Koneragh Mountain Range. Taerin is a longtime ally of House Rayla (though they did not view Rayla as a "ruling house") and also has a close alliance with House Mera and has close ties by blood (though no formal alliance) with House Keir.

Irene - their first daughter and former heir, currently in exile.
