Nathan grew up in a family with an extensive military history. As far back as his family goes, there has always been some member enrolled in Hanalan's army, and his family has always been overly proud of that fact. Nathan is no exception. As a child, he used to follow his father around and listen to any and all stories the man would tell about his experiences in the army.
Needless to say, Nathan was more than willing to join Hanalan's army when he turned fifteen and proved himself to be a competant and devoted soldier. So much so that a year later, when the king of Hanalan decided to send his daughter on a pilgrimage to Megam, Nathan was one of two knights chosen to accompany her.

Nathan is a very focussed and punctual young man with a strong loyalty to both his country and the Hanalan army. He's serious and tends to be rather calm and collected... except where his three fears (heights, the dark and small spaces) are concerned. He'll completely lose his cool whenever one of his fears comes into play, often freaking out and then just as quickly attempting to cover it up afterwards by clearing his throat and returning to whatever he had previously been doing.

Nathan has short brown hair, bright green eyes and a medium tan. He stands about 5'5" and wears green color-coded armor along with the occasional dark green traveling cloak.
