Jewel of the Desert

The Jewel of the Desert is the title given to the current matriach of the Atsirian royal family. One does not neccessarily have to be Queen of Atsiria to be the Jewel of the Desert, in the case of heirs younger than eighteen years old, they retain the title "Princess" while the regency goes to the next in line to the throne in majority.

This title was originally held by the ladies of House Atsir at their home in Cleraine, and moved to House Anshar and Razen when they seized control of Atsiria.

The current Jewel of the Desert is Queen Edalene, who is unmarried and whose only heir is her brother, Reeve.
