Ian is the firstborn son of House Milesia, next in line for the Dentorian throne. With very loving parents and a very warm childhood, he grew up being rather sheltered. Ian also didn't have much responsibilities as a child because he was very truly doted on, and he ended up not being really responsible as is. Some courtiers worried, in fact, that he wouldn't be good ruler simply for his love of the simpler, more carefree things in life. Ian did not pay much attention to his studies, either, preferring instead to focus on epic poetry and in his spare time the sword, and he's somewhat decent at it. His parents hoped this attitude would change as he grows older...but alas, it didn't. So, out of worry, they decided to send him to Korin for further education, with an alias to prevent assasinations and other people taking advantage of him. Because, dragons know, he just begs to be taken advantage of.
Ian takes the name 'Agi' after a character in a particular poem he loves, and would get quite frustrated if called by his real name.

The first thing one should remember about Ian Agi is that he is so not the heir to the Dentorian throne. Of course not. Where'd you get the idea? And his name is Agi, thank you. Really, I have never heard of this Ian person. Who is he again?
Secondly, no, he does not find guys attractive. That would be unmanly. Pretty, ladylike girls with brains is where it's at. Of course. No. Really. This is not, like, pulling your leg or anything.
Thirdly, Ian Agi is very innocent. Naive. He sort of believes in the good inside humanity. And he's very trusting, though he's far from stupid. He just doesn't use his head often enough, relying more on his instincts, and this makes his father the King really worried about how he'll manage ruling Dentoria is why he's been sent to Korin Academy, just so he can learn the ropes and get connections get the skills he needs. He's also a lot more carefree than he should be for his position (what position?).
