A young runaway from Dentoria, Demi went searching all the way to Norey in Kanemoria to find her missing father and tell him what's for. Finding no clue to his whereabouts, she alternates between assuming him dead and continueing her search. She is currently traveling with the Franelcrew so she could finally leave Norey.

Once in Northern Dentoria, there lived a traveling merchant and his lovely wife, and their four beautiful daughters and handsome son. Being a traveling merchant, Maxwell was hardly home to see said darling children grow up, spending most of his time in Kanemoria, usually squandering what little money he did make before sending the remains back home to his family.
And so, Demi grew up as the clumsy, awkward middle daughter in a small village, learning to help take care of her younger sisters befor she could even take care of herself, while her mother and brother supported them and her elder sister found herself a life of her own.
Years past and Demi grew up, and one year her father stopped sending money and was never heard from again. By then the family had fallen apart. Their mother had taken to drinking, leaving only her elder brother to support the two youngest, the girls Demi herself had once looked after, and the eldest daughter gone away with her own husband.
This, Demi decided, was not fair at all.
So, Demi came up with a Plan.
This Plan was incredibly ridiculous, and involved sneaking around the village for near a month, scrimping and scraping up everything she needed until the Plan could be put to the test.
And when came time for the Plan, Demi gathered up her belongings, saddled up the horse she’d had her eye on since hatching the Plan, and was off and headed in the direction she hoped was Kanemoria to find that no good rotten father of hers, or at least his body.
Demi had not considered how much time it would take to actually reach Kanemoria, or how she would earn herself money to feed and house herself and her stolen horse along the way, but Demi knew she would figure something out. Later. When the time came.
Eventually the time did come, and Demi’s slow progress was halted when she, as luck would have it, met up with a traveling family in need of healing. Having learned what little magic she could from her Mother, she bargained with the family to let her travel with them as far as they were headed in exchange for her help. They didn’t know what else to do but to accept, and Demi found herself traveling quite comfortably almost all the way to Norey.
Of course, luck didn’t last her forever, and the storm made it almost impossible for her to accomplish what she’d set out to do. But Demi does consider Norey to be a step up from what she’d left behind, and works toward strengthening her healing skills.
[edit] Personality
Demi is a little girl playing the tough kid, with that curious mindset of “I’m right and know what’s what” teenagers seem to get at a young age, though Demi shows no real sign of growing out of it yet. Being a very care free girl, she hardly considers the future, preferring to take everything in stride and as it comes.
This of course means she usually has very little in the way of money and is constantly scrambling, but this is something Demi needs to discover and overcome on her own if she really wants to grow up

Demi is an especially gawky young girl, long limbed and somewhat clumsy at best. Her excuse is the fact she’s a growing girl and can’t keep up with herself. Despite the fact she’s had a rough and tumble kind of childhood, she favors dresses and gowns over any other kind of garments.
Her hair is long and pink, held back from her face with various clips. Demi also has a wide goofy smile, and a sinister angry face, and relies heavily on body language, her arms and hands shaping the air like words themselves in emphasis. When she speaks, her voice fills a room, as if she never learned the difference between having an outdoor or an indoor voice.
She does, however, have some grace on a horse, and can handle her mount considerably well for having only meager training in her childhood on the town donkey.
