Cleraine is one of the cities of Atsiria, the seat of House Atsir.

Cleraine is the most concentrated center of art and expression on Eire, brimming with culture and class. Its people are naturally quite creative, and the city is filled with theatres, art galleries, and other forms of artistic display. Its also the largest trade center in Atsiria after Razen, and one of the largest in Eire. Its habitants are, as a rule, extremely cultured, wealthy, and business-minded. While there is a lower class in Cleraine, there really is no scummy underbelly. Work can be found anywhere for the lower classes, offered by the many merchant families and artists needing aid in menial tasks. Its positioning in the center of the desert also makes it the logical hub for the desert's nomads.

Cleraine is also an exquisitely beautiful city, built by its artistic women, with soaring towers all in blues and purples, arching bridges between buildings, and creatively built manses for its wealthy population.

The city unfortunately has occasional water problems in late summer/early autumn, which has kept it from becoming the major center of trade and power it dreams to once again become, as residents become nervous, and traders and nomands both avoid the city during those months.
